Marchstone Homes is the brand name under which all homes on all projects acquired, designed and developed by Rockridge Design + Build are marketed.

The company is based in the Royal Burgh of Lanark, in Central Scotland, and indeed, it is from one of the ancient traditions of the Royal Burgh of Lanark that the company derives its name. The "March" stones are those surrounding the "Marches" (boundaries) of the Royal Burgh, and are inspected - continuously since 1140 - by Lanark's Standard Bearer (The Lord Cornet) at the "Riding of the Marches" ceremony each year.

The principals of the company are all "Lanarkians" who were born and raised in the town or who have adopted it and made it their own. The company itself has its HQ on the outskirts of Lanark in the village of Cleghorn.

This geographical location places our HQ equidistant between east and west coasts, between Glasgow and Edinburgh, between Aberdeen and Newcastle and provides quick and easy access to both the M8 and the M74 Motorways.

The mobility and ease of access throughout Scotland occasioned by our location enables us to respond quickly and effectively to the needs and interests of our existing customers all over Scotland and this, we feel, is critical to our continued success as a company.

After all, it is only by retaining the loyalty and respect of our existing customers that we have established the reputation for quality and style that attracts our new ones! And without customers......
